images-2Neise’s MRI reportedly revealed a partial thickness tear in his rotator cuff, though manager Terry Collins maintains it isn’t anything serious. Serious or not, a short trip to the DL isn’t likely to solve anything.  Look for Niese to sit out for awhile to heal then rehab, or shortcut directly to surgery after the 15 days is up.
